Emanuella Martin is a speculative fiction writer pursuing an M.A. in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. She has written for Chico News & Review and The Orion. Her 2007 feature story “Invisible Victims” took fourteenth place in the Hearst Journalism Awards Program. Note: many of her early publications were written under her maiden name, Emanuella Orr.
She is an avid traveler who has lived in many interesting places, such as: a snow-bound cabin in the Sierra Nevada, three boy scout camps, the Czech Republic, Las Vegas, New Jersey, Virgina, the California central valley, Pennsylvania, and her in-law’s house.
She currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, Sean Martin.
