As a fiction writer, Emanuella’s fiction has been has been published in Every Day Fiction, FLAUNT Magazine, and The-Tusk.com. She writes stories about love, relationships, family, status, and power.
As a journalist, Emanuella Martin has written for print and radio. Her 2007 Chico News & Review cover story “Invisible Victims” was selected as a finalist for feature writing in the Hearst Journalism Awards Program.
In 2014 she was nominated to read at the Hazel Reading Series in San Francisco. Hazel is a reading series dedicated to showcasing experimental writing from women-writers.
Emanuella Martin holds an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and son.
